I think wordfilters to Japanese are funny and have taken to ending posts in desu in lieu of having t-b-h filtered to desu even though I never used to type t-b-h

Only problem with filters is that some slang are actual words in normal context. Based, slop, soy for example. Can't tell you how many times I got caught off guard by soy sauce being filtered to onions sauce on 4chan. Slop is probably the easiest so long as it covers shitposty use cases. Maybe filtering to kuso.

On the homepage staff can select things to go into Featured Threads

We have a lot of markup tools, and a way to create custom markup using ALT+M but you have to be a programmer to really understand it. I've sanitized it to prevent exploits.

The difference between /qa/ and /jp/ is that they're similar but JP is supposed to be more fast paced than QA. QA has 20 pages of threads while JP is 10.

I might point out other things but that's about it. We basically aren't going to moderate the same we do typically until things wind down so don't fret about being a nuisance too much.

Much like 4chan we can restore threads going back through a hidden archive board. Our deleted posts wind up on >>>/trans/ for transparency.
