But you can do that by hand and go out into the real world and do!

Paint the map with Catholicism. It's the best religion by such a large margin it almost makes you forget that saint worship is idolatry.

 No.3160

>>3159
Actually it's called veneration and that is not worshiping at all dumb prot shoo shoo

Do you have a moment to talk about Saint Kuon?

 No.3162

So my brother's doing this Lent thing very seriously, very orthodox, but he got bronchitis and now has to have some sort of dairy so the compromise I guess was having to drink Kefir.

My curiosity came to me when I saw the bottle that looked like milk, and grabbed it to see what it was. I went to and inquired about the quality of this milk he had, and he and his wife could only vouch for it, saying deceptive phrases like "It's great!" and such. Little did I know I was falling for some ancient orthodox trickery because the second I went to pour some of it into a cup, it oozed out with a thick and clumpy consistency. I didn't even bother filling up a full cup, looking at the disastrous concoction before my eyes I knew I couldn't chug it down no matter what health benefits it promised.

With great hesistation, I stuck my finger into the little puddle I'd made in my cup and tried tasting it. It was sour, gross, and tasted like rancid milk. I never wanted to throw up something so bad, but since it was just a taste I was able to make it to the sink to wash that taste out near immediately. How are there people that like this? How can you like this?

 No.3163

I'm a mendicant anchorite (hikki NEET).

 No.3166

I'm honestly kind of surprised a thread this overtly about religion is allowed to stay up.

 No.3167

>>3166
Well there isn't any real shitflinging so like, what do you expect?

 No.3168

The post deleter, he deleted his post...
I don't know I think the only reason the thread is kosher is because it's /qa/ culture (read: Andy) to talk about it

>ancient orthodox trickery

 No.3170

I have nothing against any talk that doesn’t bring shitflinging and drama.

Padre Pio is an interesting saint. His attitude towards the devil is pretty based and his positive perception on cats is another thing I like about him.

 No.3177

Apparently lent isn't even an old tradition and the US just stuffed it in because they want to be better than europe

 No.3178

>>3167
I guess I forget that the mods aren't as paranoid about that kind of thing as I am.

 No.3179

File:17414579603009177421794126….jpg (2.5 MB,4000x1848)

There's only one person I am paranoid about in this thread.

As long as it's not a thread that promotes adherance to the cult known as American brand christianity it's fine.

 No.3180

>>3179
Well clearly this is a Catholic thread, not a prot thread, so if the prots wanted to make their own thread that's on them.

 No.3181

Going to make a Ramadhan thread instead. Hold my kebab

 No.3182

Are you going to move the thread when it ends up being spring?
Serious question.

 No.3183

Things don't get moved

 No.3184

the earth MOVES

 No.3185

What's everyone favorite version of the bible and why is it the Douay-Rheims version?

 No.3186

We'll see if it's still being used. Giving special treatment to a religion thread, traditionally the oil to an imageboard's water, is not something I'm personally fond of doing.

 No.3218

Oh yeah lent is still happening, yeah
