p*ltards exist in every country as the minority, recognizing differences between countries and still being able to appreciate other cultures is the norm that i don't see the many weird p*ltards in america apply because they are so divided.

gave people a chance to turn the thread back (to its already questionable OP) but instead people kept going and someone even reported it

 No.16952

Idk why my posts and others were deleted when the OP is the one inciting this type of discussion. A mod coming to cry for others to report them instead of deleting the thread or moving it to secret without asking for permission is disappointing. It's not like it was a flame war and if you wanted to prevent it, moving it would be the better option instead of alienating users and reinforcing the belief and reputation of kissu being a clique.
>>16950
I don't, I just think Americans are worse in that aspect, that's all.

 No.16953

I should have posted this in the thread itself or cross link it right now but I'll save you the headache. I can only assume I hit a nerve against a mod or the majority of posters from the US

>>16953
I don't like the thread, but it's at least tangentially related to 2D stuff (Blue Archive) and has potential to become a good thread despite OP's flawed premise. Moderation steps in when stuff goes from 0 to 100 and people keep building onto it, requiring a quick purge.
If it helps you to think you're a successful troll for your "What about America" posts in a thread about Blue Archive, then yes you are a successful troll. But if you're a successful troll then you can't also be a victim.

 No.16955

Also I want to say that the "other people are saying you're a clique because you don't have free speech™" thing is a very disingenuous and even nefarious thing to say. Imageboards in weaker positions would read such things and might feel pressured to change their values in a misguided belief that it would lead to growth, or to calm their nerves so they don't have people on the internet saying bad things about them.
One of kissu's greatest strengths (and a point of pride if you ask me) is that it's very welcoming to new people.

 No.16956

>What about America
What about OP indirectly calling the Japanese racists? Just because I didn't feel the need to hold back in a kuso thread doesn't mean I'm a troll.
That point of pride is weak because me and others have pointed out the fake niceness of the site here, and I only call it a clique because I've seen others mention the passive aggressiveness and call ¨pissu¨ a ¨clique¨ elsewhere. It's not like I'm doing it on /jp/ where everyone can see it. I call things as I see them, when I see them, if you want to ban me because you think I'm malicious then do both of us a favor and do it.
I don't see you or the other moderators being able to handle the site when (or if) it gets bigger and so far you are doing a good job if you want to create animosity among regular posters who can see this type of behavior for what it is and push away new people whenever it happens to them or see it happening to others. I rather have fun on the internet than waste my time trolling or give my opinions to a site that doesn't deserve them so the mods can have fun and even expose my data.

 No.16957

btw, believe it or not, I didn't read 73552 until after I posted 16949.

 No.16959

>What about OP indirectly calling the Japanese racists?
I don't think anyone takes offense to Japanese being angry at Koreans as it's a running joke while also something studied with curiosity and astonishment. Is it unfair? Perhaps, but it's something grandfathered on imageboards going back to the earliest days of ZAINICHI KOREAN sjis art.

>me and others have pointed out the fake niceness of the site here
>Just because I didn't feel the need to hold back in a kuso thread doesn't mean I'm a troll
I think these two comments of yours are related. Some people do need to "hold back", but for others it's a more natural thing. People can easily change when they surround themselves with the right environment, since people adapt to fit their surroundings.
Anyway, to me sounds to me like you're admitting they were posts with a negative effect since you recognize them as something to otherwise refrain from doing. The "troll" comment of mine is in regards to your comments about mods crying or having their nerves hit.

>It's not like I'm doing it on /jp/ where everyone can see it
I was saying that more in a meta sense, which is way I said "imageboards in weaker positions" instead of kissu. I feel quite strongly about imageboards and I've seen some things over the years, including small boards being pressured by those that have been moderated against. The stuff you've said in this thread about "others saying" or "you won't be able to handle moderation" are harmful things meant to elicit a negative response and it deserves to be called out for what it is.

>if you want to ban me because you think I'm malicious then do both of us a favor and do it
No one likes having their posts deleted, but I think this is being overblown. You are not being rejected from kissu, it was simply some posts getting deleted to put things back on track. It happens. As usual, no bans. Kissu is filled with people who have deleted posts, including mods and of course the admin. Tomorrow is a new day!

>What about OP indirectly calling the Japanese racists?
I did not mean that. "I'm not racist when I'm horny" is kind of a meme phrase. I also wasn't aware of any of these political posts until now because I was sleeping.

 No.16961

Also, I do want you to "have fun on the internet". This should be a very minor hiccup that you forget about soon. Actions are taken against posts, not people.

 No.16962

>Being overblown
Maybe
>your comments about mods crying or having their nerves hit
>harmful things meant to elicit a response
speaking my mind while I was upset, I could've handled it better. My mistake was forgetting BA is a KR game and thinking OP was subtly talking about the dark skinned characters in game. I feel the need to clarify that I'm not black or dark skinned. Idk how the internal hierarchy works but I still think mods shouldn't ask for permission to delete posts or at least they shouldn't be allowed to say that they want others to report them publicly, it looks bad and another anon also questioned that post there.
>Have fun on the internet
I didn't want it to be overblown that's why I posted all of that here.

Sounds good!

>Idk how the internal hierarchy works but I still think mods shouldn't ask for permission to delete posts
It's useful to gauge user reaction and see reports instead of instantly deleting. The order of that thread is:
1. I made the 'don't make the thread worse' comment >>>/jp/73552
2. A different staff member made the comment you're remarking on after people made the thread worse
3. I came back with the intention of deleting them and also saw a report that helped ensure that a user wanted them gone too

>I feel the need to clarify that I'm not black or dark skinned
thank you for not being black or dark skinned

>A mod coming to cry for others to report them instead of deleting the thread or moving it to secret without asking for permission is disappointing.
You dumb brat. A mod acts without permission and you complain it's oppression, it acts with permission and you call them weak.

That's not your decision to make.

 No.16976

As usual, the helpful thread maker who knows only how to encourage flame wars manages to ruin the impressions of the site. Using his insider knowledge he stirs up conflict and then begs with mods that his intentions were not filled with malice

 No.16980

>>16975
I don't mind ¨oppression¨ or care much for free speech (I know why you would think that), only vague rules.
The staff post indirectly asking others to report them so they could be allowed to delete them is what bothered me, see >>16962
>at least they shouldn't be allowed to say that they want others to report them publicly, it looks bad
why not wait until it happens naturally if you are not authorized to delete it? If reports are how some staff measure their decision to delete posts or become authorized to delete them, then it's not their decision to make either and they shouldn't instigate it. Asking anons to calm down is ok and it is my fault for skipping that post in this case (>>16957).
It's those type of indirect, snarky comments that manage to ruin the impression of the site imo, not the ¨oppression¨ .
I'm over it and you should be over it too.

yeah well, sorry for bothering you but I don't care. I would have deleted the entire thread if I had reasons, but waaaah. People bitch all the time about me moderating and I'd destroy half the site if I were allowed to.

I really don't care if you believe me or not, but I really posted the thread without thinking. It was based on >>>/qa/122825 and made shortly before I went to sleep, meaning I never wanted to discuss anything with anyone. It was just meant to be a stupid throw away thread (that's what /jp/ is for, isn't it?). And I said it was okay to move it to /secret/ if needed.

You seem to want more political discussion on kissu yourself but your position is at odds with cool.
