Not sure what you mean by that.

But anyway. This image doesn't depict the fact that even cars made in the USA have many Mexican and Canadian components. Mexico is a source of low cost labour for the low end manufacturing that goes into many products in the USA including cars.

This is actually good for the US as it keeps costs down and means that this low end manufacturing can be off shored(after all, a lot of that work would be done by immigrants in the USA if it was to be done in the USA anyway and having these low skilled jobs off shored frees US labour up for better things).

Adding costs to US car will also make them less competitive globally and reduce US exports even more.
