I'm glad that Trudeau resigned in acknowledgement that Canada's leadership is insufficient. Now the failed experiment can go on and get run by America like it should have been a hundred years ago when we buy it.

 No.35725

Outside of potentially deregulating the transportation of oil... Which is like very much who even cares about oil anymore aside from making transitions to alternative fuel sources easier... There's nothing in Canada.

 No.35726

I guess the main goal of a us occupation of canada would solely be to make life worse for people. I can imagine Americans feeling joyous about that. They are worse than Moscovites after all.

Oil is still very important. Global oil consumption still is not declining and is unlikely too for quite some time. Barring a global depression or war or something that is, after all, the only times that oil consumption has declined in the last 50 years have been sue to the 2008 financial crisis and Covid.

The US is also producing more oil than it ever has before and Trump is unlikely to curtail that.

it depends on the use case, but in Quebec anyone with an engineer grade salary is buy EVs. I can understand in power generation, but even then, there are growing availability of alternatives

 No.35730

>>35729
Even EVs still need to be manufactured and green energy has a lot of issues which make in unviable as a replacement for fossil fuels. In some places they are more viable but even then fossil fuels are still needed.

It's simply not possible to replace oil right now. Particularly not when you think of it from a global perspective. And oil is a global commodity.

That keyboard you're typing this nonsense on was made with oil. No one is buying EVs.

 No.35733

Even as some sort of half-joke I do not want to see any sort of annexation of Canada; I DO NOT want their Indian problem to become ours any more than it already is and for what? To essentially gain another Chicago to permanently sabotage getting anything done here? As well as their parallel society known as Quebec? Blegh.

If it were only Alberta, NWT, and Yukon it may be alright.

>>35726
Yeah I think it would definitely be a great way to make both regular Americans and Canadians miserable.

 No.35735

I thought the good people of Liyue already bought Canada.

You should come to Canada sometime. The density of EVs is somewhere between 1 in 5 OR 1 in 20

 No.35737

hell my sister is just some menial skilled labor and husband a hardware company manager and they just bought a KIA EV. People don't want to pay gas prices and we can get better efficiency out of power lines from better handling power stations

I don't believe you. Only idiots are buying EVs and most of those don't have good enough credit to lease one. Only an idiot would lease a car that you know up front can only go at most 10 years before you're forced to dump $10k+ in it. People don't even want modern ICE vehicles but they're forced into buying them due to the fact all the good used cars were either crushed or cost nearly as much as a new car now.

People do want Hybrids that run on hydrogen. But no one offers them due to this idiotic push for battery powered cars that are worse for the environment and cost more than a comparable gas powered car to run. No one wants to wait hours on a road trip for a battery to charge when they can fill up a tank and go in 5 minutes. No one wants a truck that can't even haul a boat up a steep incline. No one is buying into the lies marketing are trying to push. No one likes the styling. No one likes the touch screens. No one likes the prices.

I'm going to assume if EVs are being sold as such a rate in your area it just proves the rest of your area is as retarded as you are.

you can believe whatever your lead filled brain believes but the charging stations for EVs are always full and you don't go a day on the highway without driving past a Tesla

It's so he doesn't have to face the voters. He'll be back in 4 or 8 years because of him justifying himself like that

Nice car. Really serious acceleration and braking

 No.35800

Most cars can accelerate and brake... You have really low standards.

 No.35802

I think you just have no money

 No.35807

Only a person with no money would say something like that.
