Damn, you're rich to be getting that kind of money PASSIVELY. I'd say it's enough, but there are other things to think about. Money opens all doors, but it doesn't mean you're going to like what's inside. Are you really open to moving to another part of the planet without any regard to what you'll do once you're there and without knowing anyone?
There's a lot of this "I'm moving to Japan" stuff lately and no one seems to care about what the Japanese people themselves think about it. I'd try to make make friends/associations with the people before carving out a piece of it for my gaijin butt, but maybe I'm overly sensitive.
