The spikes on it were just soft silicone and changed colour based on light and angle.

Lots of really great and beautiful pictures in this thread, high quality! I never snapped anything too valuable before, aside of course from personal things like family photos. I was most active when I got my first smartphone around 2011, taking lots of unserious pictures of dog poop and whatnot, until I eventually just lost interest in going through the trouble of taking my phone out at all. I highly regret it! Going through old photos is very soothing and it's sad to think about just how many years are missing.
Anyway, I love going through this thread!
