It was moving slightly, not enough that you would notice at a glance but if you watched it you would see it gently waving like a sea plant or something. The spikes on it were just soft silicone and changed colour based on light and angle.

Lots of really great and beautiful pictures in this thread, high quality! I never snapped anything too valuable before, aside of course from personal things like family photos. I was most active when I got my first smartphone around 2011, taking lots of unserious pictures of dog poop and whatnot, until I eventually just lost interest in going through the trouble of taking my phone out at all. I highly regret it! Going through old photos is very soothing and it's sad to think about just how many years are missing. Anyway, I love going through this thread!
