I second amiami. Though I've only bought fumos there. Not yet ready to take the plunge to figurines and wall scrolls just yet.

I usually use https://www.1999.co.jp/eng/ because they don't - or didn't in the past, at least - collect local sales tax and because the website used to be better. It seems like they've HTML 5'd it since I last checked. I've also bought from Suruga-ya, Mandarake and Lashinbang. This 1-of-500 colour Elin was from Suruga-ya for relatively cheap and in unopened condition.

Would you mind sharing some proxies that still allow the undervalueing of parcels and which also support Yahoo? I've already been through the ones listed on the buyfag wiki, but there was always a catch and the best undervalueing option, if I recall correctly, was no less than 70% of the actual value. I'm not a figurine guy, but I buy Famicom and PC-E stuff from time to time and nearly puked when I found out I now have to pay INSANE amounts of customs fees for off-market second-hand items.

I recommend Japonica. They charge slightly more than competitors but have excellent customer service and will usually make your purchase within ~15 minutes during their opening hours. They also are happy to jump through whatever hoops you need to get something very difficult to purchase, albeit charging a fee for each one - for example I recall seeing a guy want a paper map from a small town that could only be purchased by phone order and they were able to do it for him. Their registrations are limited but they're open at the moment.

When I buy from JapanRabbit you can adjust the slider. But they take a cut out of the shipping fees or something. I dunno if they're economic because they're the only ones who I trust to handle some pornographic material and light lolicon without making a fuss
