Although they're rarely competitive, I think 'spellswords' (variety of names really) are the best. It's basically just a rogue or other lightly armored class with the ability to cast lesser to mid-level magic, often enhancements like flame-wreathed swords and stuff like that. Maybe invisibility or illusions and are included, too.
It's really cool and manages to maintain the novelty for a longer time than a class that's exclusively physical or magical. It's a bit of a jack-of-all-trades, so if the game allows enough freedom you can find ways to defeat a lot of things that would block other classes.
Pretty much my go-to class for anything if it exists.

Depends on the world. If the possibility of bagging a hot Kitsune wife exists, then Human Fighter it is, boring but close to home and focusing on physical prowess complements her skill in magic.
If this is not an option, then I may as well have fun with it. Comically evil skeleton necromancer aspiring to become a full lich and make the world a very spooky place. My legion of boney boys will be based largely on Dark Souls 1 skeletons. And since it's an isekai there's no one who can call out my obnoxious overuse of tropes, unless you faggots also spawn in the same world.

You are—begrudgingly—forgiven. Were I not terminally mofubrained, necromancy would be my first and only choice. Heroes 3 was a core childhood shaping memory and I learned from my dad that Necropolis is the only way to play.

Probably an alchemist or DnD style monk. I love fantasy alchemy and find that it's never well implemented in most RPGs I play, usually only existing as an afterthought crafting mechanic done via menus which trivializes the techniques used which I would liken to real world cooking.

There's never a guarantee that the isekai world will have a deep magic system I could exploit and customize, so I'll stick to the things that will be most fun in whatever scenario.
I'm easy to manipulate because I have susceptibility to seduction, masculine competition challenges, and similar kinds of manipulation, but becoming a loli would mean I could slaughter away without worrying about anything pointless like that.
