 No.6535

I'm a sager (wiseman). I さげ(sa・ge)

 No.6536

It's Japanese, so I read it right-to-left as e-gas.

>さげ(sa・ge)
Oh... that's what it comes from, isn't it? I though it had something to do with not wanting to "unnecessarily bump a thread" is what a sage would do.
>sage (synonym for "wiseman")
Well in that case, the answer is simple. Wiseman it is.

One sagge, two sagge.
I seiji, he seiji suru, we seiji shimasu.

I know the Japanese pronunciation is correct, but my brain just can't immediately label it that way. I can't relearn that when my eyes see a word that ends with "-age" it's pronounced "ah gay". It's hampered by me seeing the actual English words for the wise man or herb fairly often. It's basically reinforced into my brain almost weekly.

i always thought it was like burning sage, to purify the thread of unwanted attention or whatever.
after googling the actual meaning... that makes a lot more sense
