Nothing else had a chance. I don't care if the animation budget is lower than I'd like it to be and it's 28 episodes instead of the proper 200 which means some things are rushed or glossed over, I have to choose Utawarerumono every time. I hope I can take the thread where I talk to myself to at least 300 posts.
But, there really were some truly great shows.

Jashin's tourism episodes were weird, but I guess that was how it got some of the funding? That one Medusa High episode was still great even when it was inundated with regional stuff that seemed like bizarre quasi-advertising

Teppen was really nice, yeah, but it's hard to compete with the other strong shows. I think alien girl and the :3 girl should get their own spin-off, as Teppen just had way too many characters (although it seemed to give alien girl the most time outside of the three main girls so they knew what was good)

Hmm, yeah faking covid is bad, but you have to feel for the animators being treated like garbage, with terrible pay.

Hmm.... well, I think Kuon's show was by far the best personally, but the people have spoken and it's a tie, huh?
If this was a poll on the wilder internet, or even just imageboards, Utawarerumono would be 0.035% of the vote so I'm pretty happy.
