How does this compare to Tree Style Tab?

>>2701I haven't used that. I'll see how it interacts but i think it's overkill.
Pinned Tabs in Zen behave as save states. So you lock them in at a location, navigate around, sometimes it opens up a mini window instead of a new tab. Then if you close or you click on an icon it either can unload the tab or restore to default.
I can make you a video to demonstrate it if that would be useful

Also it has workspaces so if you ever have too many tabs you can create another grouping and toggle between them.
I haven't used it much but it also has split/grid based view for single/double monitor users who need to do more on one screen

>>2703>workspacesIs it like profiles or does it have that on top of profiles?

>>2705That is indeed very tempting...

something I also realized is that categorized tabs have their own set of cookies. I think that was probably in firefox, but I never used it because it was never right in front of me like it is in Zen

I was looking at librewolf but this also piqued my interest.
How is RAM consumption? Firefox eats up a lot.
No.2710
something in Zen's favor is you can unload tabs, but I'm not really thinking of RAM because there's a lot on this computer..

I turn my PC on after stepping out a few hours and come back to find Zen completely blank like new, with none of my tabs, addons, or bookmarks saved.
Awesome. Serves me right for trying something different.
Uninstalled.

free yourself of materialistic desires like tabs, addons, and bookmarks

Vertical tabs are always a red flag. Techfags are always trying to reinvent the wheel.

I dunno how people have these super niche computer specific issues

>>2845Been using Librewolf ever since the Firefox fiasco, haven't noticed a fault nor a difference between the two. ...apart from the fact that alt modifiers aren't working with my Vimium C.

>>2843vertical tabs are better. I like seeing my tabs instead of them shrinking as I open more

Zen does have issues, but it's an Beta product.

I use zen twilight, only issue I've had (that didn't get patched) is that tabs I havent had as an active tab for a while will randomly act like I clicked to close the page with text submitted even if I didn't, and ask if I want to close the page and lose info. Was a little annoying when wiki editing

My idea is to put the tab bar to the right of the address bar.
Just cram it all in one bar, hamburger menus everywhere.
