I had messed my divine meditative state up, and so, I have lost it again. Admittedly, all I ever felt from it was cold, impersonal mockery towards me; it was another restless piece within the disorder it could neither subdue nor navigate.
To lose it is no good, either. There weren't honey-laden gifts from Hades at the end of the lightless tunnel. I shall deal with the inevitable consequences there's no running away from. People build sandcastles, and call them a symbol of significance of freedom just before a tsunami levels it all down. People choose to drown, and call the choice a fate.
The shadow clusters are now gathering up at the periphery of my vision, my pulse giving more clarity to their outlines with every passing second.
Always stay COOL, remember your TRAINING, and, if nothing keeps you going forward, then cling to the PETTIEST HOT DAMN SPITE you can conjure from the depths of your inherent ANIMAL MACHINE spirit.

Some friendships are fated to shatter, not out of dislike for one another, but out of mutual, irreconcilable incompatibility. To resolve the issue on my own terms, to prevent future conflict, I divined a method never to have to witness that vermin again... You objected and quarreled purely over aesthetics, and when challenged over my motives, you chose him.

You made your decision, and so did I.

I feel no spite in my heart. All that remains is sorrow at our mutual, irreconcilable incompatibility.
