Speking personally as someone grew up in the 2000s and early-2010s, although I've never played the Zelda CDI games, they were very much a part of my childhood thanks to the innumerable YTPs of them. I also grew up with a lot of 90s media in general, since it came out shortly before I was born and as such was still available.
