sounds like you already have your friend in your head

>>89417But being outside at night is thrilling! If you happened to have an accident, nobody will help you, so you better give your best. If you want to look harmless, you can wear something indicative like sportswear. And then again, it makes no sense to worry about people who pass a place unless they freeze for some reason.

>>89416In games you can just enter any building and hear what people have to say. People find opportunities to socialize anywhere but I haven't yet found anybody with the rare personality, complex-ridden yet a compulsive dreamer. Somebody who is immune from the fakeness of normalcy.

>>89418>But being outside at night is thrilling!Sort of. I miss seeing the birds. Being outside and NOT seeing and hearing birds is so strange. It's like a different world. A less important world.
No.89425
>>89423When you can hear the birds, it's almost daybreak. It's truly night when you can safely cross an intersection diagonally(which is stupid but exciting).
No.89431
The only people you'll find out at night are delinquent darkies and schizo homeless. You might find a supplier for your "compulsive dreaming", but more likely you'll just get robbed.
No.89432
I've been thinking about going out at night, to explore the world when it's dark and empty, but i've always been too scared to do it.
>>89418It would probably be thrilling, but because i'm not very tall and pretty weak i'm quite sure i'd stand no chance if i met something with ill intent, human or animal. And since i would be all alone otherwise, it's simply too scary to think of what could happen if something went wrong, even if the chance of something happening is really small.

I have absolutely no interest in talking to anyone IRL unless you're an attractive girl that wants to make love with me immediately and start living together the next day.
No.89436
>>89431It's really not that bad how you describe it, I walk to clean areas where I wouldn't even dare to spit gum on the street. It's bold to assume doing something that nobody dares to do, but if I have the possibility to walk when it's silent and noise-free, the risk seems worth it.

>>89434that's why you first stalk them online then break into their apartments
No.89440
>>89436Obviously the risk is going to vary depending on where you are and what you're doing, but OP's goal is to meet people, not walk in silence, and nighttime is not conducive to that goal. Arrange a meetup or go to some kind of nerd event if you want to make weeb friends irl.
>>89439This works too, just be aware that you'll get funny looks from your new friends' parents.

I live in a big city and have gone to a few different anime fan meetups but they've all been pretty miserable for me. 90% of conversations are just One Piece or Shingeki no Kyojin and no one follows seasonal anime but also they don't know any older stuff either outside of like Cowboy Bebop. Not judging people for having different tastes than me but practically speaking it doesn't feel like we actually share a hobby.
No.89450
>>89448this happened to me as well when i went to a jap student meetup
the most i was able to talk about was with a fujo that had a haikyuu tattoo on her arm but sadly i don't recall much of it
singing nhk's pazuru in front of a crowd was interesting though

>>89450>the most i was able to talk about was with a fujo that had a haikyuu tattoo on her arm but sadly i don't recall much of itwell they say smell is the sense most closely linked to memory so you simply need to smell a fujo again

>>89451I go to cons now and then just as an excuse to meet up with online friends and drink but yeah everyone there is interested in just Shonen Jump, Genshin, and vtubers. Cannot imagine actually meeting new people there. Occasionally they have some nice guests at least, the main one I go to gets classic 765 Idolmaster seiyuu for some reason.
No.89498
>>89448Surely you've watched at least some shounen series and Cowboy Bebop, so you should be able to hold conversations with those people as long as you can set aside your inner /a/utist and not have a meltdown every time someone mentions Naruto. Hobbies are generally built up from a foundation of whatever was popular when you were exposed to it, so 99% of people get into anime through shounen. That doesn't mean they won't be interested in going deeper or won't enjoy hearing more in-depth stuff you know about from being more plugged in to the scene than them.
All else fails, talk about how you hate isekai or kuso CGI in badly acted meme shows by hack directors.
No.89500
>>89498NTA, I'm sure I could hold a conversation about poop and cum with a retarded homeless drug addict too because I have experience with pooping and cumming, but the real question is why would I want to.
No.89503
>>89500You say that like there haven't been a bunch of conversations around those things on this very site.
No.89506
>>89503Conversations about dumb topics with smart people who watch good anime are more entertaining than conversations about anything with dumb people who only watch Cowboy Peepoop and One Peece (of shit).
No.89507
>>89461If you look around you may be able to find some niche event. Something like "ANIME JAPAN CON" would be flooded with that stuff, but there might be something a bit more esoteric if you look hard enough. Something that would only attract a certain crowd?
