perhaps at the level of preliminary modeling, but it doesn't mesh with the WIP production material that animators share on social media and that look nothing like the op, nor with the very static poses that dominate simpler scenes

It's pretty easy to tell in my opinion. The camera angle changes are quick on purpose but they're still the easiest tell that it's a locked up model.
A more into-this-shit nerdy tell is the layering of things like her bangs over her face being not how cel animation works.

I think the main thing is that 3D model poses has heavily influenced design in the preliminary stages as >>89369 says and the main effect is limiting the dynamism of the poses by restricting the animation to 3D space. You can look at a scene and see how it could be in a video game, face aside. Oh, and hands. Most studios take shortcuts with hands these days. They're very geometric for lack of a better word.
