was really having issues sleeping last night and couldn’t figure out why. then tonight find out I was using my old normal pillows instead of the nice memory foam one I have now and it really made me appreciate the importance of a good pillow for your sleep. so get yourself a nice pillow /jp/

I've been using the same pillow for like 15 years now, just an old regular thingl. I should try to get a better one sometime, but it's hard to adjust

Not too well versed in the pillow industry to know what's a good pillow and what's a scam.

I just got whatever memory foam one they had at costco and it made a world of difference when I laid in it. Didn't even have to double pillow.

One time I put my pillow in the freezer because I was so warm during summer, it was super refreshing on my neck and felt like it lasted an eternity (it had been there all day). It did smell of french fries though. I'm gonna do it again this summer, but bagging it properly first so it won't make me hungry. Might even try to fit my duvet too. It will be heaven.

You should try getting one of these cooling gel side memory foam pillows. I got one a few years ago. It's a really weird experience having the pillow suck the heat from you. Because a lot of blood flows through your neck, all that blood gets cooled down and then you can feel it flow throughout your body as you feel a tingly sensation while you get colder.

It doesn't work all the time though. Sometimes if it's been hotter than usual in your room (>80F), it will just feel normal and not cold, but if it's been closer to room temperature (<=75) it will feel really cold.

can this pillow be put in the freezer or will its gel sacs burst?

I've never tried that so I couldn't tell you. It's not like a liquid or anything. They feel more like squishy silicone thing

I've thought about trying one of these cool pillows since my pillow gets hot if I'm in bed watching or playing something. Hmm....
