Man, this series really knows how to build up intrigue. Doing it better with the old man than the Miko, I think. Some genuinely creepy moments that I wasn't expecting too. The ghost designs are just marvelous as well. So unique and warped in a perspective that really shows the depths of the author's imagination. The subtle shift in Miko from wanting to just ignore it all to slowly wanting some sort of peace with the ghosts is a nice touch as their threats continually ramp up. And resisting the urge comes at an ever-increasing toll to her moral sense as the encounters with more peaceful spirits increase.

Guess I'll probably be keeping up with this monthly now....
