ITT your favorite Touhou characters and why you love them.

My favorite 2hu is Ran and I love her because she's so unlike any other Kitsune in media. She's much more humble while still retaining those qualities foxfags like traditional Kitsune for. Her intelligence isn't used to one up other characters, rather, it's overshadowed by being in service to someone smarter (or dumber depending on how you spin the source material). While she's a bit of a drooling retard in SSiB on account of ZUN needing to jack off Yukari at every opportunity, she's still really cute in that manga. Other appearances are sparse, but steadily build a picture of who she is, with TH19 bringing the most of her we've seen in 20 years and I think it's her best representation yet. Unlike many other 2hus she doesn't come across as an asshole, she's not vulgar or rude and seems kinder than most. Moreover she comes off as motherly. Being a shab, we can't leave out her appearance. Despite her modesty she has incredible sex appeal. Any extra skin she does show is erotic and her sprite in TH19 is borderline NSFW. She wouldn't be as interesting if she were another floozy with her cleavage hanging out from a low cut kimono. The overall design of her outfit is distinctly "Touhou" in aesthetic with her tabard and silly ofuda covered mob cap. I know some people hate on the hat, but I think it makes her fox ears more erotic. It's all a charm point. Lastly, as befitting a fox of the highest quality, she has nine lustrous tails which needs no further explanation. Overall best toe hoe and top wife material in my correct opinion, I love her a lot and think of her often.

Runners up are Yukari and Chen, and Okuu oddly enough. There's also something about the god characters too that draws me to them, it's hard to explain.
