she should have watched/read them if only to know what to avoid putting into her own story

The self-aware isekai is itself overly cliche by now, so there needs to be a reaction to that

for an original isekai anime priding itself off wanking its own animation the designs in zenshuu are fairly generic looking and the monsters appear to be occasionally unimpressive 3d. there's been nothing that really impresses me about it at all, especially not storywise. wonder if there were production issues at mappa getting this out because their animators were too busy getting isekai'd themselves or maybe the direction just left a lot to be desired

either way i think if i want an animation showcase i'd be better off watching the mononoke movie, which actually it so happens that the first of them is out now
