>>13918It's not the font itself that's bad, it's how it's (mis)used. It's a common topographical faux pas for it to show up in places where it's really not appropriate. Comic Sans is just a font that was designed to be used in comics, similar to how Anime Ace is the go-to font for manga or doujinshi, or how Times New Roman is the font of choice for essays and papers -- but as mentioned, it shows up outside of that intended use-case: on forms, police cars, local government iconography, etc. It gives off a sense like the person who picked the font didn't really know what they were doing. Nowadays, through the long game of telephone of time, it doesn't really show up anymore outside of meta-ironic usage as a font people use to show they're being
unserious or to be
