UX of the UI does suck though. It's got a million buttons and tabs and just overall is super busy looking. This gets compounded by the fact that that the general site theme draws from late 90s early 2000's websites.
an easy example of how busy the page is the recomend threads on the bottom of the page and the "Similar" tab on the side of the page. Not sure how to present it better just know that it looks "wrong".
