I stopped when the edgy shounen villain with a spear showed up. Never felt like continuing reading beyond that point, and I heard that they skipped Constantinople entirely which made me even less inclined to pick it up again.

I had a good honest laugh at the final chapter's English credit page saying they took over translating the manga when Hox dropped the project because he was 'busy with real life stuff'.

Never read the manga, but the first anime season was decent enough. Second season, though, I really wasn't feeling it. Lots of misery that I didn't want to choose to spend my time around.
I'm kind of curious now that he mentions the ultimate goal of maturity is to be a kind person since the story is full of, well vikings doing viking things.
But not curious enough to see nice characters brutally murdered and stuff.

I started reading this in high school. The anime wasn't that good but I did appreciate seeing the fights animated. I still don't have the heart in me to see closure yet but I know I need to read it.
