The anime skips around _a lot_ and it didn't adapt several of the early chapters. I'd have to go back and look but if I remember correctly episodes 10-11 were somewhere in the 30-38 chapter range. Episode 12 of the anime is manga chapters 17-18 but they made several changes in the anime to make it more dramatic ending.

We're a long way from everything covered in the anime by this point. I suggest reading the manga from chapter 1 if you haven't started already. It covers a lot of things that weren't in the anime or the manga did things that were included in the anime differently. It skips around a lot and lots of times only did the second half of a chapter.

There is also the comic which is really nice because a lot of good guest artists have done chapters. The Drama CDs are really good too. The first one has been translated and is on the archive if you need those. Grab the .mkv file. The other drama cds haven't been done yet and not all of them are included in the archive yet (sorry about that).

We're into the second year of school in the manga and various new characters have been introduced by now and other side characters have had a lot more development. But it's mostly a SoL series by this point.

Not dumping because it's so far back. v1 has been removed from archives but I still have it for anyone that might want it for some reason.

After some more back issues are TLed I'll be converting archives over from individual chapters to full volumes. Should be done in time for v2 of the torrent that will include all updates to the archive since the one released almost two years ago now. Time really does fly doesn't it?

The more they make, the more I'm starting to love Studio Bind. Hopefully after they're done with Mushoku they have all the money in the world to run around unrestrained adapting whatever they want and hopefully S2 of Onimai. Being able to commission their animators to give us some official Kaede boobers goes to show how cultured the individuals working there are. Not sure how I could trust others with picking up the mantle when it's already in such good hands.

The anon that commissioned it was really paranoid about not sharing it around and mentioning it was animated by an official staff member. Which is why I didn't name who did it and it's totally a rumor that I made up on the spot. No self respecting staff member of Studio Bind would ever do such a thing after all.

The group that worked on Onimai anime is really dedicated to their craft. Some of the scenes in the Onimai anime are ridiculous. The cookie scene from episode 3 (IIRC) was done by an animator that learned how to cook and took it up as a new hobby just so he'd get the scene of Kaede cooking a meal *just right*. Then you have the small scene where someone is filling up a glass of water from the sink. Which had no business being as well animated as it was.

I'm praying that the same group gets to come back for season 02 and that Studio Bind lands the contract. The last thing I want to see is it being done by another studio or the freelancers that worked on season 1 not being able to return for season 2. This was one of the most well done shows in the last 2 decades.

That's okay anon. Sometimes things can be great and not be for you. Maybe if you give the manga or comic another try it'll grow on you. If you've only seen the anime you should know there are various differences between it and the manga. Everyone got a massive tit buff in the anime and a huge ass nerf. Manga Kaede looks nothing like anime Kaede for example. I'm personally a fan of both and see why such changes were made. Some people are just tit men and the changes weren't overly done and they didn't change too much story wise. Other than the changes to the last episode of the anime to make the final scenes a bit more dramatic (in the manga Mahiro takes the re-dose almost instantly. I felt the anime handled the decision a bit better. Which is a refreshing change compared to most shows that make changes from the source material).

The manga is becoming a bit SoL these last couple of years. Not much changed with the main cast although Neko has introduced a lot of new characters and worked more on side characters. Which is nice. But can distract from the main plot. I don't think he expected to ever get published much less make it all the way to chapter 100. The amount of money he's making compared to just a few years ago is insane. He doesn't want to do anything to risk losing his cash cow. He's an avid gambler so I'm sure he's pissing the yen away as quickly as it's coming in.
