Also accidentally got myself on a Noita kick today and played it for nearly the entirety of it straight...

>>6959 I was going to be using bouncing burst at first but then thought "oh wait but if I have triple shot with homing then I'll have triple the damage", but then they did NOT home nearly as well as I'd hoped and kept missing shit and also triple shot ate up way more mana such that I actually ran out instead of having an infinite stream. Really it was a big mistake, and if I'd had more time to think before I started starving to death then maybe I'd have gone with bouncing burst instead. Eat your vegetables is probably a perk I should consider after I can make snap decisions without much thought.

Ohh I've been meaning to try this game sometime. Seems pretty fun, although the instant deaths s eem a bit annoying

>>6964 It's not really instant death per se (unless you get poly'd into a sheep) but things are very lethal within the world. I've been playing it on and off for years and haven't really ever figured out how to beat it. Though now I'm dedicating myself to getting at least one ending before I let myself get distracted again, so I'm having some fun tinkering with wands and learning that the secret really is just finding and combining chainsaw with stuff for some really crazy wands. Also I learned that shuffle sucks.
Anonymous 05/20/25 (Tue) 12:51:35 No. 6966
>>6965 Shuffle wands typically have much better stats than regular wands, but you put up with the fact that it's shuffle. So what I do is use them for spell storage or for a single spell if I need something like that in a pinch, putting multiple of the same spell is also valid. The bomb wand you start with is a good example. It's a shuffle wand, but with one slot so should you replace it with any of your starting spells it has a ridiculous cast speed and can shred most early enemies you point it at… until it runs out of mana.
Getting the perk that removes shuffle makes them much more valuable since they keep their higher stats.

I had my ass kicked so often I just rageinstalled a trainer. And then I got my ass kicked again as I got turned into an animal up in the heavens. A splendid game.

Worked pretty well and fairly minimal connection issues contrary to what I was expecting. Pretty fun too and I like how it makes you a ghost when you die that attacks the other player with the wand you were holding. That sorta balances out the mp factor in it.

What a gay system, but I guess that's learning spell interactions and all. I just want to get a single victory without blowing myself up or some disastrous event occurring that kills any good run I'm on.....

>>7097 You went to facetank the fly mob and then got shot by the trap at the end, don't think your wands have anything to do with it.
Should play more carefully, just be afraid of everything.

>>7098 OH, I SEE THE TRAP AT THE END NOW
FUCK
I thought I just got killed by nothing, didn't realize that was an actual trap on the wall, bleh. Also looking more into the enemies I was fighting apparently the one guy swaps places or brings you to him when you attack him and he was next to a guy who seems to have lowered my max health to 100 as well, so it was a combination of fuckery and not knowing anything about the Temple of the Art that got me killed I guess.
I think I'll take future opportunities to just completely avoid that area in the future or speed to the bottom unless I can oneshot everything without thinking.

And the blue guy swaps places when you hit him I think.
