>>6895Oh yeah Captain Falcon was pretty fun, too. I was really, really bad with him, though. In particular I whiffed his Up+B grab thing most of the time.

I main ness and sit on the corner of the map spamming up-B the entire game while everyone else tries to have fun.
If I'm not allowed to play ness I will pick Mr.Game and Watch and spam side-B the entire game.

>>6902Yeah, Zelda's projectile thing was great for that, too.

Samus unless the map/other players aren't conducive to ranged and then I go Toon Link.
If I'm winning too much I switch to Peach and laugh at the losers for getting beat up by a weak little princess.

>>7089What's this? Is this a new Smash Brothers or some player made interface for an old one?

>>7091it's a community-made matchmaking software for playing melee online with other people, equipped with a ranked mode as well (which is what this is from). everyone who plays melee nowadays uses it for practice, and since it uses peer to peer netcode it has very little lag compared to previous online modes for melee (and is much superior to smash ultimate's online mode)

I got Melee as a bonus from my parents when I wished for a GameCube only so that I could play Sunshine. It makes me a little sad to think about the fact that I never really got into it, feels a little bit like I wasted my parents thoughtfulness. I've only ever played the single player experience and I'm utter dog water at the game, something about the basic movement alone just doesn't click with me. I always played Samus because her suit is cool!
It amazes me to see the insane level of control a lot of players seem to have.

>>7093It's ok, Smash was always a local multiplayer thing, I can see someone who is an only child not having much fun with it.
No.7109
I thought the solo Smash stuff, especially past the first game, was really good. All the different modes like Subspace and Adventure or whatever was fun. I still need to play the newest one for that stuff, as I'm not too interested in competitive stuff.

>>7109I love Melee adventure mode and used to replay it all the time, I don't think the switch one is that great for singleplayer. Not the worst but much lower effort compared to some of the other games.
