The Furry Patchy 2hu artist drew something for it! Haven't seen episode 4 yet, but it's a great show!

It kind of pisses me off the Tanuki are still there shitting everything up. It's definitely their fault the dune worm found its way to Earth.

But it was still a fun episode, keeps things very silly without totally ruining the sense of danger and doom that is encroaching on the cast.

Best anime of the season for me. Tard ninja girl is at #2 for me.

Did they really bring it to earth? The way she described it sounded like they go from planet to planet, but also I guess that'd be a Tanuki story passed down because they kept bringing them to different planets somehow... She didn't really seem to know how it got there though and it's pretty big to take on a journey.

I doubt it was intentional, but all signs point to it being a recent arrival so it stands to reason that the shit-pilers failed to properly sterilize their ship and introduced an invasive species.

It's such a fantastic show. I give extra points for anime originals so I think at least for the time being it's the show of the season. It's good to see cygames using their evil gacha money to make something like this. Huh, looking at the studio itself they also did Bang Bravern.
I'm a sucker for this genre of exploring a world that has greatly changed and it's really excelling at it as it makes cliche things entertaining with the characters and style. I was a little bit disappointed that the Tanuki stayed around, but as long as Yachiyo remains the main character I guess they're useful as plot devices and the girl is fun.

Another nice episode. Some beautiful shots.
