I'm not quite sure how to phrase this... I think that adapting something requires a certain level of insight and respect for the creator and their works, and so someone like that would naturally understand the finer points of ecchi -- not all of which is explicitly sexual. Maybe my thought process is a bit tortured...

Oh, that makes some sense.
It's certainly high level ecchi. Not so much in what it shows, but the quality of the titillation. (There's 3 shows with nudity this season)
Well, not quality enough to mute the guy having vocal reactions to this stuff, but I guess nobody's perfect.
