What kind of puzzle games have you been playing, kway?

Is that some Baba is You? Crazy how that dev has made not only one, but 3 landmark games. Does Noita count as a puzzle game? Because I never figured out how to properly wand build.

Technically it does have a few puzzles, but they are still being worked on.

The original Lemmings game. I already completed all the levels a while ago but it's fun to go back at it, especially when you don't remember most of the puzzles. I never played the expansion pack though.

What is it with Eastern Europeans and being mathematical geniuses that just want to play and make good video games? I swear it's so common it can't just be a coincidence while in the West you've got them all huddled up in academics or hedge funds.

You're hurting the feelings of all the mathlet Eastern Euros right now.

i've played a lot of picross/nonogram stuff just to pass the time, but this is the first one i've played that wasn't for the phone. sad i didn't play this earlier, cuz this absolutely surpasses any other version of picross i've played, both in aesthetics and the quality of the levels

This is one of the best underrated ones to play on MAME: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j_LEJzK3290

I play a lot of picross/nonograms.
Years ago I came across Mario picross and got hooked by it.
Generally I use

Currently I like the 20x15 grid, the bigger they get they just become a major timesink, there are also collections people have made that are basically big pictures you can print off and reveal.

Oh, a fellow nonogram addict.
I might check that one out.

Been replaying the first Scribblenauts on DS. Scribblenauts is a really fun series, and if you haven't played it yet, you should.

I've found that I tend to prefer puzzle games that are a bit more "open", if that makes any sense. To me, a lot of the appeal of Scribblenauts is that there's never a predefined "correct" solution to any given puzzle. You're thrown into a scenario and provided with a win condition, but everything else is just object interactions.

It's been a couple months and I've come a long way. I encountered most of these again and beat them without too much issue after forgetting what the solutions were faster so I'm happy about that.on my ph*ne

But now I'm going back to it and doing a bunch of the later levels, and some of these are just on a whole different level of annoying.
¥Insulation
¥Heavy Cloud
These two were probably the ones that gave me the most headaches on my return, "The Pit" was what initially made me go on a break but it wasn't too bad when I got back to it today, I just wasn't trying out enough different solutions the first time and forgot about lessons from prison which were useful in this. Also not knowing how fall worked well enough was an issue. The last level I beat was Existential Crisis to clear out the Rocket Trip area and I have to say I kinda hate "Empty is You" levels because moving around as empty is annoying, though I understand it.
