I remember playing that game on the DS, haven't beat the campaign because I lost the card somewhere and never found it. Spent a lot of time in the map editor making funny scenarios. Though maybe next time on a game, it's 2:30 am and I was just getting ready for bed.

Oh wow, cool. Normally I'd be fine with a game this time of day (well, most of the time when I'm awake), but I'm very sleepy.
I'm probably terrible at playing this multiplayer. I'd still try, though. Just don't expect a real match from me.
I hated the serious theme of DoR at first, but it did grow on me.

I just discovered this client today and apparently you don't need to play in real time. You can join, make a move, and play on and off aslong as you make a move within the specified time. (I think default is 72 hours) So yeah, don't feel any pressure to join the lobby. (Obviously it would be more fun to play in real time though)

gg fun game. I thought the bridge was blocking naval units from crossing so I opted for the roundabout method of focusing on airforce which costed like 20 turns just to get a bomber to take that fucking battleship.

Will probably make another lobby later if there's still interest in this game. Looking through the costume maps though, most of them fucking suck. One of the reason I liked DoR so much was because of the naval battles but most of these maps have little to no water.

Yeah, I probably would have made the same mistake if you hadn't. My biggest problem with this thing is that it doesn't have the second screen unit details like who ammo works on and terrain movement values. I kind of like that map from the perspective of using the center ports as lander/gunboat launch pads or seaplane factories, but it's a total troll map if you don't know which boats can move on beach tiles.

i wasted money on a missile system on the far left corner because i thought i could bait your copter into picking off the 1hp tank/infantry trying to take the city but the copter went north and my nearest anti air was sitting on the factory too far away im always one step behind

You should have been able kill the 8 infantry with the AA and then used the tank to cripple the bike. The copter was just there to neuter the md tank after you had to waste its turn attacking infantry again.
