considering norms bought tiktok to in their own words openly say control the narrative why would they leave 4chan alone? the only thing they bought was the ability to control the narrative on it and they have to continually pay bytedance+ 14 billion trip. instead of there suddenly being a need for the crazy captcha which gets progressively worse for humans only and is just as easily possible for machine learning bots the answer is elsewhere. especially when look at somewhere like /pol/ and notice the increase of pure bot replies and hoards of jeets+shills being like 80% of the board now. jeetape or hiro got a paycheck to try and drive away human posters so there isn't always people countering the narrative and there's one less place for anon's to communicate. they want to use the corpse of 4chan to be pro-kike and try to redirect everything towards muslims like kosher right-wingers of europe.

"proxypedos" can simply solve the captcha manually so this won't actually combat them. even if you make the captcha take 2 minutes to solve somebody who decides to spam that on 4chan will take the time while somebody who reads something worth reading will stop posting. there's no reason to spam that kuso on 4chan unless you're doing it to exercise power so even if it takes some energy they want to do it. conversely normal or intelligent people don't want to spend all that energy to reply to a jeet or bot so they walk away. this isn't even touching on the fact machine learning is at a point where it can solve the captcha in a picosecond whereas a human need 30 seconds to digest it. you can only make it more impossible for humans than the bots until humans can't do it.
