>>38932I hate political streamers not because of their age, but because they're functioning as distractions to keep people satiated with slacktivism as their main method of vying for change. If you gave someone actually principled like Louis Rossmann or any other actual advocate for
something a platform as large as these parasites have then the world could be on track towards being a far better place that prioritizes the wellbeing of its inhabitants over the profits of big tech CEOs. Instead I have to deal with seeing this drivel over and over and hoping that someday people wake up to the fact that none of these streamers matter. What infuriates me about the Night connection is that I feel it's pretty obvious they're most likely controlled ops as well to keep people from thinking about anything that matters, and instead keep watching the outrage bait or yelling about national or global affairs they can do nothing about while the actual change is underway under their nose as more and more local governments are bribed to accept AI surveillance or data center deals that make it so local power becomes insanely pricey.
It does have me think that maybe democracy has failed in a sense, when people are so easily manipulated by social media into having whatever opinion they're supposed to have. But then you can't have anything else since any system of priority power will favor the rich and wealthy already fucking over everyone. So I just have to hope that people will stop consuming political slop and actually do something for once in their lives.
