I don't look at the ED and think "cute", but the ED claims to be about cuteness, and I can see girls thinking that's cute. But it is not cute, if anything it's ugly.

I have no interest in any of the subject matter here, I can't talk about the ED or anything, but I completely agree with your last statement. It seems to me that the majority of people use "cute" as a synonym for "attractive" or "sexy" when they talk about females, which I don't really understand. Cute to me are little baby animals, adults that are mentally handicapped (think "I am Sam"), beings that are genuine in their innocence and / or helplessness and have you want to protect them.
I can understand people getting the same feeling from some doofus loli, but some random girl in revealing clothing with her cleavage intentionally on full display and ass cheeks peeking out under a short skirt..?
