>>93225Please be yourself. I've met modern, western "artists" that were less presumptuous than your post.
I don't want to imagine how awful it would be to be confined to a single thread considering how diverse are 4/jp/sies' interests in Touhou and 2hus. The freedom to analyse minutiae of particular aspects, without Anons wanting to discuss something completely different butting in, is wonderful. And this is true whether you are the one discussing or the one that would like to talk about something different already.
Likewise, the possibility of making a whole thread much straying from the established norm keeps things interesting. Sometimes it will be a miss and the thread will simple die off, but sometimes it will allow for something truly wonderful to bloom. It's impossible to recreate such environment in a single thread that is supposed to accommodate for all.
The lower speed of the threads, even post-vtumors, allows for putting more effort into posts, whether it would be lore discussions, writefagging or making artwork and/or edits. Not only because you don't need to concern yourself with a thread dying if you don't respond quickly, but also because slower speed means that everyone has more time to digest your post and actually get some use from your effort.
Furthermore, while I have never posted on /vg/, I know it has higher bump limit than /jp/ and I expect it has lower character limit per post (310 and 5000 for /jp/, respectively). For many subjects nobody links to the last similar thread, they are ephemeral. All of this, combined with the aforementioned lower speed, encourages to make every single of your posts count. It's not always possible, true, but it is at the very least a good motivation towards better experience.
Lastly, there are many Anons that love to gush about particular 2hu or 2hus. I think that many of them would feel beyond awkward doing such in general space instead of designated zone, if only out of consideration for others. Those that wouldn't care and would still post, well, those would quickly turn annoying for others, I can assure you on that.
While inconsequential to the rest, the neighbourhood, once you filter vtumors and 3dpd, is much better too. Actually lurkable.
>they literally give away thread slots and permanent residence there for freeUnder a presumption that you are already soulless, otherwise this would be selling the very essence of yourself for living in crowded, confined rat-cage. And while /jp/ moderation is what it is, I doubt that /vg/ is anywhere better, if stories told are to be believed.
Besides, those that want such, nomen est omen, general experience of Touhou already post on /vg/, I imagine. Frankly speaking, the few times I looked at that thread, it felt like exactly the purposeless image-dump that character threads are often accused of, intersected by posts that could be taken from gameplay thread. If you like that, then please continue having fun. But since, as we know, there are no stupid 4chan users, please use that intelligence of yours and consider that there could be many pining for a different experience that is still within what imageboard can provide.
