SZS always and forever will remain my favorite comedy anime.

Even understanding the cultural references, I feel like Joshiraku's jokes flip-flop from being hilarious to falling completely flat.
Anyway, I like Yuru Yuri.

Don't know if it's categorized under comedy, but been watching Genshiken recently, and have certainly been lol-ing, mostly because "haha relatable", but is also funny.

It's weird that you made this thread now, because a recent show that made me laugh more than any other was Aharen, and season 2 is currently airing. So far this season isn't as good (yet?), but its dry delivery and the absurdity of the guy's imagination is still there.
Take this clip about the guy simply visiting Aharen's world in Animal Crossing. (doesn't include the previous 10 minutes of his world). This is simply brilliant. All this buildup and the payoff was just so simple that it was perfect. Aharen is so good.
