Not new, just not particularly popular. I can't remember if it was made before or after flash was officially discontinued., but it was around that time so it was well past its heyday.

I actually don't know, but now that I have read this maybe i will go search for the original. Just downloaded it about half an hour ago from 4/f/. The song was pretty cool so I decided to post it.

Yeah flash stopped being popular when Unity and HTML5 and Javascript came up. Maybe some other things too

This video attachment(!) will help explain why flash might not be as popular here. As /f/ is simply a board on kissu used by any kissu person rather than a specific community as on 4chan, it's not used as much since many flashes are simple video conversions into SWF.
It's becoming increasingly popular the past couple weeks, though!

I don't know if it's the nostalgia, special snowflake feeling, or something else, but I don't mind these either. I like my quiet corners of the Internet. The alternative way to watch these videos is Youtube and NicoNico, and I prefer this.
