a console of rom hacks sounds more interesting to me than the real deal. some of them are really entertaining

I knew these were going to be videos I would dislike from the thumbnail, but... ehhhh~~. How gross. I pity the people who will have had their introduction to older video games through this person rather than AVGN or Adam Koralik.

please enlighten me because you seem to know far more than i do. there isn't any 'introduction to older video games' when he doesn't mention any retro games at all other than these knock-off console videos, clearly the target audiences are different so your remark adds nothing to the already obviousness. the two channels you mentioned don't mention any knock-off console at all and is more off-topic than the videos i mentioned despite being cringey.

>there isn't any 'introduction to older video games' when he doesn't mention any retro games at all other than these knock-off console videos
That's the point... To someone who's never seen or experienced any retro video games, this would give them a completely false impression of what they're actually like. Hence, I would pity them if this was this first introduction to retro video games, as opposed to seeing and learning of them from a better channel, such as the two I mentioned.

I don't think people that watch people play games they've never played have any interest in playing the games themselves very often, doubly so for stuff you need to go out of your way to get like old ROMs.
Also this is my favorite ROM hack, but there's probably better stuff out there: http://www.i-mockery.com/romhacks/wilford/

Personally, albeit not as creative, I'm a fan of Super Luigi Land: https://www.smwcentral.net/?p=viewthread&t=94187

hahaha ohwow

i already said that that isn't an introduction to retro video games in *any way*. if that was my first exposure i would think that these are cheap knock-off consoles with ugly graphics and move on ignoring retro games as a whole like most kids do, until i find a proper introduction
you sound like an overprotective parental figure
