I guess it is pretty similar now that you mention it. Outside of the social anxiety moments Bocchi had crazy, silly visuals while Witch has just standard stuff that's really high quality.

Almost, it's the fibonacci sequence (the next is the sum of the previous two), but that sequence is related to the golden ration in that the ratio between the previous and next number tends to the golden ratio as the numbers get larger and larger.
Oh, but you don't have to start with (0, 1) or (1, 1) to get the golden ratio. In fact you can pretty much put any positive integers as the two starting numbers and it will still tend, in most cases, to the golden ratio!

That episode really confused me and felt like it was weirdly shoehorned in.
Suddenly she goes "Actually I've hated you the whole time Monica and also I hate the prince and myself and I'm going to blow everything up!!", all for it to be resolved without all too much hassle. It's a shame because I thought she'd be a nice older-sister type character to Monica but it looks like she was thrown aside by the author instead.

Well it's not like it was going to be an amazingly deep show. I watched it for the occasional really nice serious viusuals and also the Bocchi-like nervous faces. All the other stuff has been filler, and did it decently enough I guess.
