But you support rape. You literally deleted a post that said rape was wrong and you are morally in the wrong for supporting rape. You endorse it by deleting it.

Why is it always "rape" that seems to attract the worst kinds of posters?

Rape IS a really kuso subject though and I wish people could stop injecting it into threads.
I don't think the thread was originally meant to talk about rape but instead "submissive males" but some people can't shut the fuck up about their fetish

No.33628
>>33627But I don't talk about my fetishes... The most I've done is post Koruri. I've never been a fan of the sexual talk but I don't know how we'd enforce it. People shoving their fetish in unrelated threads is my line, but I don't know if rape was off-topic in this thread.
I think this is just one of the cultural things that have changed over the years since 2D stuff (doujin, hentai) has gone mainstream and people are used to talking about it anywhere and everywhere.
No.33629
>>33627>>33628Just because the average modern 2D consumer is severely addicted to constant sexual remarks, attentionwhoring and social media, that doesn't mean you have to tolerate it. The ruleset for Kissu/jp/ exists, yet still I could make a bare-naked 2D ass thread on there right now and the most that would happen is the obligatory "I wish people would (...)" and / or "I prefer to ignore it until the thread deflates on its own" meta post in a week or two on /secret/, all after the damage has already been done. People will see what is tolerated and adapt, it will only ever get worse.
Rules can also be expanded upon, something that /poll/ could benefit from, but it's no use if they won't get enforced anyway.
No.33630
>>33629If we moderate you'll hate it. It's the same problem as Google reviews. Only the unsatisfied customers, or the review diehards, leave reviews.
But knowing this doesn't make it any less demotivating to do things.
When the only impact of your actions that you see is forcing your will on others and others getting upset that they can't do a thing.
No.33631
>>33630I completely understand that it's frustrating and that any kind of negative feedback, even that of bad apples, can get to you in some way. But even so, what's the purpose of rules if not to enforce them? What if, for whatever reason, anime Wojak parodies and 2D girls with nazi or communist symbols become increasingly more popular among users, to a point at which they constantly complain about you removing related posts, would you then also just accept this shift in atmosphere and continue hosting a place that you yourselves don't even identify with anymore?
Again, I get the frustration, but I don't understand the goal of Kissu if not to create and keep a specific atmosphere that is not found elsewhere, and statements and actions such as "I'm too tired to deal with you guys (...) Get suffocated by the trash that I tried to protect you from" strike me as very counter-productive to that idea. Not to kuso on V or anyone though, those are just my personal frustrations.

2 things:
-Its one guy pushing the rape bit.
-When rape posts get deleted and then sensationalized like this, it causes more retards to rape post because they think its funny.
Just wordfilter rape to something so benign the forced bit loses its value

rape is great, look at all the people who hate it
No.33649
>>33631Part of it is simply not knowing how to deal with it in an amicable way. It's a very nebulous thing to enforce because 2D culture is quite ero but it's hard to determine when a thread has value outside of that. "Whoa big boobs!" done in a silly way can be a /jp/ thread that dies after 6 posts because people see it as a dumb disposable thread (which /jp/ is made for) and see it replaced by 20 newer threads that have zero sex appeal. However, someone can make a thread like "Whoa big boobs (Reimu edition)" and it will turn into a thread with 400 posts and image dumping kept alive for 5 years, giving the impression that /jp/ has supplanted /ec/.
I sincerely do not know how to deal with that if people are unwilling to use /ec/ because of a strong attachment to the /jp/ name. It's very hard for me to judge the 4/jp/ style threads on kissu /jp/ because it's not my thing, but I don't know where else they would fit.
The recent thread made on /jp/ about stirrups that was moved to /ec/ is an easy decision, but it can be hard to decide for other stuff.
A good outside example would be the Palworld threads on /v/ that exist today. When the 1.0 patch was new it was 99% people talking about their experience in the game and sharing game screenshots and tips. But now it's like 90% furries circlejerking over art and mods tolerate it because there's still some people talking about the game. (or maybe they're in the thread masturbating). The thread is ostensibly focused on the game, but I don't know how I'd deal with that if I was in that situation.
I guess what needs to happen is more people need to make silly/funpost threads on /jp/ so the newer people have an example of what to assimilate into, although their interests are heavily 2hu so I don't know if it's a bridge that can be established.
As for the rape stuff, it's definitely annoying but at least the rape talk today was focused into one thread. I imagine kissu will need to start deleting it like we did for NTR stuff a few years ago if people want to derail threads over it.

>>33652Its going to be goaded regardless of any suggestion anyone gives by virtue of this thread existing, I don't particularly care what people do in any event following this, I'm just giving my 2 cents on how I'd deal with it, outside of just banning the offender (which I assumed was off the table, because if it wasn't that'd have already happened, surely), so I wouldn't consider it much of an overreaction.
Besides wordfilters are kissu culture anyway, or something.

>>33649I appreciate you explaining this, thank you for that. My biggest worry is and has always been related to moderation decaying, either due to a lack of motivation, or, even worse, to appease people who don't fit in to begin with and consequently change standards to fit their needs. It eases my worries to know that, for things like these, it's more just uncertainty about how to properly act and not a sign of resignation.
No.33698
>>33678Sure. Though mods go through phases where we have less or more motivation just as anyone else would and I'm feeling better after I took a break for a month.
