>>33505We never established any 4chan-like rules of "post at least 3 images", but you're correct that it seems to have been made in disagreement over something. I would like OP to clarify what this grievance is because a consensus can never bet met without it.
I think this thread had more /jp/ potential than /ec/ potential because people could make jokes or observations about it. It seems more conversational than visual and the thread would just die out in a day or two. This is contrary to some /jp/ threads that are image-heavy with a bump every few days with a new image that I think belong on /ec/. I can't really see that happening here.
>This type of behavior should not be allowed if imagedump boards are to be held to a high standard rather than being filled with low effort postsI'm not sure if there was ever any intent for high standards, but I think it's picked up that identity and it has lead to reduced activity with threads from 2022 being around. I know not to post Western artists for example and the preference for certain, uhh, things, has lead to a general /ec/, ummmmm, "body type" you can easily see in catalog view. We did have a few generic-generated-on-w
ebsite AI threads some random guy made before we told him to condense his generations into one thread and had to do some mod moves. That's the closest thing to quality enforcement I can think of from staff, but my memory is far from perfect.
"Your taste isn't refined enough to post here" is really not something I'm willing to enforce outside of something truly egregious. If everyone enforced their standards it would be quite messy. I'd relish the ability to instantly delete gacha and vtuber characters, though.
