It doesn't suddenly turn into high school drama but instead the plot turns to focus more around a string of incidents occurring in the school with a variety of different things at play to keep the culprit somewhat hidden. More of a mystery in that sense.
I enjoy it so far. Chise is learning more to grow on her own and be somewhat less reliant on Elias for everything, alongside learning the value of her own self. While Elias is more learning to interact with others and figuring out more how to be human as he finds Chise making him more aware of feelings he never realized he had.
