Christmas witches or Christmas vampires?

I love Christmas.
It's been real nice after everyone in both my extended families stopped the gift expectation thing and I can just enjoy the atmosphere and everyone has a good time. We're all adults after all and there's nothing any of us actually need, once in a while we might stumble upon something and buy it, but it's not a big deal if we don't. If my siblings ever gets any children I will shower them with legos though. Gifts are best for children.

As for Halloween I love that it has become the international socially acceptable cosplay day. I hate always forgetting to buy candy and turning off the lights though. Even when I buy candy the doorbell doesn't even work and nobody figures out they have to knock when they don't hear anything.

I love these events even if I don't make a big deal out of any of them. They really make the season feel right.
