Last time I played Elona was about... 4-5 years ago I think? I was bothered that one of the custom mods that allowed greater control and customization of companions stopped getting updated. I really liked the way you could "manually" set the AI with triggers like "N to 3 enemies, use skill X".

Nice to see you guys here, this is one of the few threads on 4/jp/ I used to frequent whenever I played the games. Both games are among my absolute favorites; I'll pick elin up again whenever EA is over and go for a mage this time instead of melee.

I got into Elona recently with Custom GX. I never played similar games but it's really a pleasant experience as I can take my time and I even created another character to play another way. I didn't try Elin yet but it's cool to see the original developer is updating it daily.
