I've been meaning to say this but every single time I see a screenshot from this anime I always think that the artstyle is in this really weird no man's land/uncanny valey of somehow simultaneously looking both terrible and also really good, and I don't know why.

I think it's because the faces are kind of dopey for many characters with wide faces and spread out eyes. It gives them a QUALTIY appearance at first glance maybe, but it's actually an intentional style.
I like the style though and have no complaints. Maybe it's that they have loli-like face proportions, as it seems to look normal on the tiny girls.
