Do you know Touhou Danmakufu? it's a game maker that let's you make Touhou style games. The story goes, someone named allenbear123 made a really kuso script and people made fun of him, then someone created another account named ai|enbear123 and made a purposefully kuso Kana script that used Microintervals of Dawn as the music, which was composed by Gondayu.
Here's the original Kana script:
https://www.bulletforge.org/u/aienbear123/p/kana-boss-battle
At some point this music became a really niche meme.
There's also another story about how some guy went insane from Microintervals of Dawn and made it his whole personality, it seems he deleted his comments on the Microintervals of Dawn video, though I still have his wall of text saved somewhere.
Anyway, stay safe and Microintervals of Dawn.

>There's also another story about how some guy went insane from Microintervals of Dawn and made it his whole personality
This person was known as "Luminous Dawn", this is what he wrote:

>ok ok im coming back 8 months later to explain that this song has absolutely ruined my life and i dont think ill ever come back from this. somewhere in like may of 2020 or so i figured this was like, vague stockholm syndrome because just a few weeks before i would constantly get enraged when people mentioned this song, but i think its something much worse. over the course of some months this has rapidly developed into a full blown obsession. the worst one i have ever experienced. ive changed my discord name to "luminous dawn". my profile picture is this videos THUMBNAIL and my custom status is set to it perpetually too. i changed my twitter handle to @microintervals because i couldnt miss the opportunity. i use my own drawing of the thumbnail as an emote frequently. i believe i listen to a 13 minute extension of it at least once per week. i keep its midi file open a lot of the time to look at. kana has rapidly shot up to my favorite touhou character, probably even above nue, likely EXCLUSIVELY because of that one script someone made. ive made my own PARODY OF THAT SCRIPT. ive used this song in my works twice. bullet hell engines is almost like a cult for microintervals now, and its all my fault. on april fools this year, we became "microintervals engine" and changed the server icon to the background of this video. i dont even know how this next thing happened, but ryann decided to actually bring gondayu themselves into bhe. gondayu has acknowledged the fact that i like this song at least 4 times, i believe, and all 4 times i was happy. bhe has mentioned microintervals a whole 900 times now, and this doesnt even count misspellings of it. before i latched onto it, this number had only been about 20. i cannot look at simple terms like "mod" anymore and take them seriously. i cannot listen to ANY song with pitch bending and not think that it gives me insane microintervals of dawn vibes. this is stupid, but i often have to retype sentences with micro-whatever a million times because i keep almost accidentally typing microintervals instead. i once read something implying that there might be "another microintervals" and was impossibly ecstatic. just today, i found myself almost about to judge someones music taste because they did not include this song in a large touhou style music compilation. in fact, just THIRTY MINUTES AGO, i was howling at the top of my lungs about the results my friend would get upon searching the title up online. i will never forget the day i used microintervals as a ringtone to wake up at 2:30 in the morning to attend an event. recently, for the first time, i had a dream that mentioned this song by name. this song supposedly shouldve died a long time ago, but thanks to me alone, SEVERAL people are forced to acknowledge its existence regularly. i get irrationally mad when an actual composer is attempting to explain how this song actually sucks. i know that this song is objectively bad. its mixing consists of all notes having a velocity of 127. its an insult to microtonality as a concept. despite there being evidence for this song being trash, i cant help but feel immensely disappointed when im told that. at this point, i practically identify using this song. when people see it, i sorta want them to think of me. either that, or i sorta want people to think of it when they see me. i appropriate it way more than i should. i aspire to make something as... uhh... existent... as this one day. starting from 2019 my stance on music had simply been "its ok i guess" but i think i will have to claim i enjoy it specifically because of the creation that is, microintervals of dawn. i say it ruined my life because it controls my entire everything, but in a way, its actually made my life much better. before i developed this hyperfixation, i recall just being an impressionable nobody who got kicks out of being annoying, and then wondered why someone noted that i was chaotic. however, now that this has happened to me, im pretty sure that i have an identity down now. yes, im luminous dawn and i advocate for microintervals of dawn

Add some cute vocals on top and you have a great denpa song.

It's a shame this artist is primarily known in the West for these experimental songs from so long ago. They still make music.

This recent orchestral of Wind God sounds great, no blursedness of novelty needed.
