The only way I can watch stuff on my TV is through DVD.
No.120222
The only TV I ever owned is my CRT from childhood, meaning it doesn't have the necessary connections, but I've been trying for a few years now to motivate myself to get (a) proper conversion device/s to mirror my VGA, HDMI and DP systems on the TV so that I can play modern consoles, Touhou and watch piracy streaming sites on there from my couch. What demotivates me is the research necessary to come up with an all-in-one solution, the details and requirements of which would be too much for now.
I have been thinking about making a /maho/ thread for this and disguising it as a general setup thread (Battlestationish?) so that it will have a use beyond a very specific call for help.

>>120238I installed a Jellyfin fork on the house TV recently and the installer also offered Doom which I installed. You could use the TV remove to look and move around but I couldn't figure out how to fire.
