are private owned buses a thing

Recently I was rewatching cowboy bebop, I thought it was interesting how they characterize these random space trucker dudes with different paraphernalia. In a similar way, I'd just focus really hard on one or two particular themes when decorating my hypothetical bus. Consistency and thoroughness is would be key.

I would decorate my otabus like one of those ad campaign buses that drive around in Akihabara.

i'd put a hidamari widehead stretching all across the roof of the bus probably
that's the main thing i feel, the rest maybe murals on the top of the walls right under the roof
