Quite frankly I just find this whole thing absurd. I mean, think about it: a maid, a MAID, eating food. EATING. THE. FOOD.

Do you know what maids are for? Maids are supposed to GIVE you food. The only interactions they should have with it is PREPARING IT. To give to YOU. YOU'RE the one who should be eating the food, not the maid. Un-der-stood?

Ohhh but I can already hear them from a mile away: "But she's a human like you! She also needs sustennaince! Why would she not eat?", THAT IS PRECISELY THE PROBLEM! "HUMAN" and "MAID" are TWO COMPLETELY ANTITHETICAL CONCEPTS, maids exist purely to GIVE. TO YOU. THINGS YOU WANT. But if she's a human, like you, then she will also TAKE things you want. Things like FOOD. DRINKS. THIS CANNOT BE! A MAID CANNOT BE HUMAN! HUMAN MAIDS ARE INHERENTLY FLAWED, AND, DARE I SAY IT, AN INSULT TO THE CONCEPT OF A MAID ITSELF.

It is high time we accept that only ROBOT GIRLS are truly deserving of being called maids. Societies (Eastern AND Western alike) NEED to seriously consider investing into nuclear powered maids in particular in order to finally elliminate this INSULT we call "snack break". A human maid will SAP YOU of a sandwich EVERY. DAY. A sandwich that she should be SERVING YOU instead. You know what a nuclear robot maid is going to be """sapping""" you of? FIRMWARE UPDATES AND A FUEL ROD EVERY 25 YEARS. If I had a robo maid I sure as hell would have a firm ware that I'd GLADLY give to her, and as for the latter, you don't even KNOW what a fuel rod is, much less need it. My experience with human maids has been absolutely horrible.
One day, a maid suddenly appeared in my home, unprompted, saying she'd offer her services in exchange for staying here. I asked what those services were, she said it was a mystery. I said I'd never requested a maid from anyone, ever, she said it was on the house. What house? Mine, she said. Being confused as to how she'd even gotten inside, I told her off, but she ran around and hid somewhere I couldn't find her, which is really weird, since I live in a small studio apartment, in the seventh floor of an old apartment complex.
So the maid stuck around, sometimes sweeping a bit of the room but only ever moving dust from one place to another, sometimes opening the bathroom to throw a bucket of water into it and then closing the door, and at other times bringing me a toast sandwich (untoasted). Even though I kept telling her to stop, she did these things gladly. A few times I've caught her playing videogames with MY save file. How she even figured out my PC's 15-digit password is beyond me.
I really hope other human maids aren't like this... but at least she's not a youkai maid, I think.
