Also never go for the crane where the prize is dangling over a thin beams edge with a chain attached Ive almost never seen those ones won in a reasonable number of tries (1-4) fuck those ones its almost silly how many ways they keep the prize in place (adhesive edge, the chain pulled the toy at an angle it gets extra stuck on the edge, translucent extensions to the ledge you cant see unless you slouch to look under the toy carefully, etc etc)
I personally like the one where the box is on a little platform/thick edge (you want to grab those ones by the side opposite the hole to tilt them in) and classic 'grab with crane, pull to hole', these ones are easiest with plushies but watch other people to see the current general strength of each crane, with boxes you usually want to try some sort of side grabbing to tip the box in the hole as opposed to carrying it over, or if its a type with high walls around the hole youll either need to use a couple coins positioning the box for a perfect grab or watch for someone else who gives up with a box at a good angle
